About the Refillery

The Greener Orkney Refillery, based at the Stromness Community Fridge, offers a range of environmentally friendly and competitively priced products supplied to us by a UK based company, Bio-d.

If you bring a suitable container, we will fill it with your selected product and you will be charged according to the volume taken. Payment can be made by cash or card.

Try an Orkney milk refill with our FREE glass bottle scheme

Instead of buying milk in plastic bottles, why not try refilling your very own glass milk bottle with tasty, fresh Orkney milk? It reduces plastic use and supports local Orkney dairy farmers.

We keep a small stock of FREE reusable glass milk bottles, and you can pick one up (until we run out) at the Refillery. You can fill up your bottle with fresh Orkney milk at:
