


About our work and activities
Greener Orkney has two purposes:
Firstly, the advancement of environmental protection or improvement by supporting community-led initiatives and activities in Orkney that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants, minimise waste, remove litter and enhance local nature.
Secondly, the advancement of education by the provision of information on environmental matters that relate to or impact upon life in Orkney.
