Greener Orkney held its 2026 Annual General Meeting in Stromness on 12 September 2026. The meeting was a chance to reflect on a busy year for Greener Orkney, a summary of which can be found by clicking this link.
Importantly, members approved a new Constitution for Greener Orkney, directing our work for the years to come as we nurture new environmental and sustainability projects across Orkney, and continue our work on beach cleans, marine litter research, community fridges and the Stromness Refillery, as well as supporting hosted projects. Members also elected Greener Orkney’s Board of Trustees for the next 12 months, who will oversee the work and development of Greener Orkney. Details of our trustees can be found on our “About Us” page.
