Greener Orkney beach clean volunteers were out at the Fourth Barrier on Sunday 19th October collecting beach litter. Between them they removed 22kg of miscellaneous rubbish and a 40kg buoy – a grand total of 62kg. They also collected a large quantity of rope in addition to the general rubbish.
New volunteers are always welcome at Greener Orkney beach clean events so if you fancy coming along, we will be back at Bay of Skaill in West Mainland on Sunday 2nd November 2025.
